The Story
Why we named it the Ocratote.
Ocracoke is the southernmost village on the Outer Banks, accessible only by ferry. To get there you wait. You park. You read. You watch the seabirds. By the time you board, you're on island time whether you like it or not.
The Ocratote is the bag for that pace. It carries beach gear, groceries, a wet swimsuit, a paperback, a dog leash, a coffee, and a salt-spray-streaked phone — all without complaint.
Questions.
What size is the Ocratote?
Standard is 18 in wide × 14 in tall × 6 in deep with 11-inch handle drop. Big enough for beach gear or a half-week of groceries.
What's the canvas weight?
Heavy 12 oz cotton duck canvas, treated for water repellency. Marine-grade polyester thread, the same kind used for sail-making.
Where is it made?
Designed in the Outer Banks, small-batch produced. The pony mark is stamped inside every bag.
